It is a mistake to equate the rejection of “God” with the rejection of a moral code.
Prayer is an exercise in futility because it’s sole purpose and function is only to worship God and to seek His God’s Kingdom, nothing else. It is not for asking for anything.
Because it is when we are in despair, in the face of horror and death, or at times of tragedies, catastrophes and disasters, we find our humanity out of helplessness.
If God created EVERYTHING then He should have created evil too. If He did not create evil, then that contradicts the Christian argument that God is Omnipotent (having unlimited power; able to do anything) and Omniscient (all-knowing, all-wise, all-seeing).
